Gameplay of Glatorian Arena 3
The Glatorian Arena 3 game is the last game of the Glatorian Arena series. Released on 12th January 2010 on BZPower, it was actually made in 2009 for a third-party website, but was never released, which is why it was published on BZPower "as-is", that means without any support given. That is also the reason why the broken MAC version was initially not going to be repaired, thus, this game was only playable on Windows for a time, but eventually, JrMasterModelBuilder managed to fix it. It was made with Unity3D as its prequels Glatorian Arena and Glatorian Arena 2 but is the first and only of the three games to work in full-screen (resolutions can be adjusted) and it is the first and only to include a two-player mode. This game features all twelve Glatorian and Glatorian Legends sets Gresh, Tarix, Malum, Strakk, a Vorox, a Skrall, Mata Nui, Kiina, Ackar, Vastus, Gelu and Stronius. In this game, you can choose your oponent at will. After having started a new game in the Challenge Game mode (see below) and after having completed eleven matches victorious, a scene from the BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn movie corresponding to the charactes one played with (characters that don't appear in the movie get a random clip) would be unlocked.
The game consists of four game modes: The Navigation Arena with background music by RockBand CryoShell where two versions exist: The one for choosing the game type and the one for choosing the Glatorian, changing the stats, checking players progress, seeing the controls and enter the arena. The other modes are the Challenge Game, the Quickplay and the Multiplayer mode. Both Quickplay and Multiplayer mode are the same, with the only difference of one choosing the own character and the virtual opponent's character in the Quickplay and both players choosing their own characters in the Multiplayer mode. In the Challenge Game, one can choose between three modes: Normal, Glatorian and Glatorian Legends. Players can change their stats but cannot choose their opponent.
Two new locations have also been added to the existant Arena Magna and Arena Vulcanus locations: The Arena Magna at night and the Scarabax caves. This version saves your stats automatically. The biggest change consists in the loss of the concept of medals and leagues, and in the removal of the arena outskirts, though. The official tutorial can be download here, too.
